AI demonstration for the turrets i did

A campy video we did showing off the jet strike system matinees.  Not too technically amazing, but it gives me a laugh when i watch it.

General Gameplay Demo

Overview
Crystal Defense was an educational project for Art Institute of Orange County done by a team of 5 people (3 artists and two technical artists) over the course of about 9 months.  The first 3 months we developed on UE3 as a mod before making the decision to move the project to a standalone UDK game, which is what we submitted to the school, it then went on to be updated and improved for 2 or 3 months.  While the game suffers from severe balance issues and our artwork wasn't exactly top notch, it is still a relevant demonstration of my technical ability in UDK.

Responsibilities
While everyone involved took part in almost every aspect of the project, when it came to setting up the Unrealscript classes and kismet I was pretty much on my own.  When I finally got the turrets working for the first time it was a very rewarding experience.  I also hooked up a majority of the UI and got the bots to follow a path using kismet.  While I did help out quite a bit on the environment, we did admittedly use a few editor assets, so I'm not quite as proud of the artwork as I am the functionality.
